We were delighted this week to host a presentation in conjunction with PADI Asia Pacific to introduce the Emergency First Responder (EFR) course to staff from resorts around the island.
During the presentation, we were able to talk through with our guests the course content and explain how the course can benefit visitors to the island by reassuring them that staff in first aid procedures would be on hand if needed.
We were also able to provide attendees with the opportunity to try out some of the skills learned in the course with a demonstration of CPR techniques.
The course teaches participants how to respond to life-threatening emergencies (Primary Care) and also injuries or illnesses that are not immediately life threatening (Secondary Care).
Emergency First Response is the fastest growing international CPR, AED and First Aid training organization, with more than 60,000 instructors worldwide.*
A big thank you to Tony Andrews, PADI Regional Manager for Thailand and Kritsada Nikrothanon for their help presenting and translating this presentation.
