Open Water Diver

The PADI Open Water Course is the PADI entry level qualification and is recognized worldwide. The following is an example of the course program. The course design is flexible and can be adapted to suit your needs.

The course comprises of five confined water modules, five classroom lessons and 4 open water dives.

Day 1 and 2 (Pool and classroom lessons)

* You will be learning about the Scuba diving equipment, techniques and skills in the pool. There ar

e 5 lessons (usually taught in one session) that are not only essential but great fun too.

* As well as the pool sessions you will receive 5 theory lessons that are delivered through either home study, multimedia or instructor presentations.

Day 3 and 4 (Open water dives)

* You will conduct the 4 open water dives that lead to certification. These will take place on our speedboat in local dive sites suitable to your training needs. During these dives you will practice the skills you learned in the pool.

Prerequisite qualifying course

* None Minimum Age

* 10 years old – Junior Open Water

* 15 years old – Open Water

What It Will Cost and What You Will Need

* Course Fee – 14,000 Thai Baht

* Included in your course fees – pool hire, 2 days diving from our speedboat, all equipment hire, national park fees, transport to and from our dive centre, breakfast and lunch while on the boat, fruit and drinks on the boat, PADI materials and certification card, log book

* Completed Medical Declaration Form, to be returned to us prior to the course starting.

PADI Open Water Referral Course

The PADI Open Water Referral Course leads to full certification in PADI’s entry level qualification which is recognised worldwide. The course is for people who have already completed part of the course before. The remainder of the course can be completed here. The course design is flexible and will take into account individual needs.
